Collective`s sustainable Surfboards
Our Collective surfboards are handcrafted by experienced shapers using a recycled blank, plant oil-based resin and non-toxic pigments.
The sustainable polyurethane blanks we use come from a small business and are produced just 20km away from our workshop. These blanks are made from over 80% recycled polyol and MDI-based memory foam which is less toxic for people working with it.
They also contain a wooden component, making them more durable and dent-resistant.
And while these boards are made to last, if one does happen to break, we can recycle the blank and use it for the production of new ones!
So now the surfing community can make their contribution to protect the planet by surfing these sustainable surfboards.
Collective`s Buitre fish
You can ride our “Buitre Fish” in all kinds of conditions. May it be small mellow waves, bigger waves or anything in between. So it really allows you to be quite flexible. This twin fin board is wide and voluminous under the chest which makes paddling and wave catching much easier. It glides effortlessly and will definitely put a smile on your face!

Resin tint
The "resin tint" process involves adding a coloured pigment to the resin used in laminating our surfboards. With this technique, our surfboard glasser shows perfect mastery of his craft. Any slightest flaw in the shape or lamination becomes immediately apparent. To us, a perfectly executed resin tint job gives the biggest stoke!
