The eco fins are produced from biopolymers like PHA, PCL, and PLA. Biopolymers consist of renewable raw materials, which are biodegradable and convincing as better plastics from nature.

The production of the fins is (almost) climate neutral. "Closed-Loop Production" means that all production leftovers are reused.
Rebel Fins produces locally in Hamburg, there are consequently short transport distances and no outsourced processes. The eco fins are manufactured with 100% green electricity and the packaging consists of recycled cardboard. Rebel Fins donates as a partner of the project 1% for the Planet one percent of the annual turnover to the Surfrider Foundation.
