While neoprene boots are made of petroleum, Picture Organic Clothing is offering with the EQUATION boots the sustainable alternative. The eco-friendly wetsuit boots are made of 78% naturalprene, 11% eicoprene, 9% recycled polyester, 2% recycled polyamid elastane /spandex.
The boots are made of naturalprene and Eicoprene, which is a synthetic foam that is not based on petroleum. Instead, Eicoprene is a mix of 70% limestone, and 30% recycled tires.
To make the wetsuit boots as green as possible, Picture uses Aqua-A™ water-based glue for the lamination process. The glue pastes the recycled polyester lining together, is solvent-free and without harmful chemicals.
Thanks to the ergonomic toe construction the Picture EQUATION boots offer great comfort while you are surfing. The seams are triple glued and blind-stitched with durable nylon. You enjoy the high stretch in the water and profit from the minimum drying time between two surf session.
